surprisingly good experience

the staff was great. they were kind and helpful. the room was clean and had everything i needed for my stay. breakfast was good with a perfect selection of food. the hotel has a metro station about 5 minutes away. there are two tram stops right next to the hotel. it made it easy to reach the city center.
the shower entrance door was not conveniently positioned.

the staff seemed friendly enough.
the tv remote did not work. also, housekeeping forgot to replenish the toiletries one day, so i had to ask at reception for more tiny soaps and shampoo.

the hotel staff was very efficient, especially at breakfast. i found a good range of food options available. a free coffee machine was in the foyer. a luggage room was accessible to all guests.
the hotel room felt a bit basic, particularly considering the 4 stars.
